Chincherinchee
Also known as Ornithogalum and Star of Bethlehem. The Greeks used the term "bird's milk" ornithos (bird) & gala (milk) to describe something incredible. The South Africans know them as "tjenkenrientjee" which is where the odd English name chincherinchee comes from. Flowers are bell & star-shaped,showy & sometimes very fragrant.They bloom individually in circles at the top of leafless stems.

i managed to kill one the other nite... wanted to let it off but it kept walking in and out of my room.
i can't sleep if i see one lurking outside my bedroom...u are too ez with them...
